iowa rock city

ahhh.....touring is weird sometimes!

i am sitting in a smoke shop in iowa city.....the same one i mentioned here. again some hippie punks are playing drums out in front of the place. pretty much iowa city has the same feel as last.

last night a skin head almost punched me in the face. that wasn't cool. unfortunately my friend tyler wasn't as lucky as me and he did get punched in the face by someone.

i like really serious people they make the world an interesting place.



tonight at gabes oasis i expect 15 paying people to be there. i can't believe i am touring in the summer. i broke the first rule with the rick johnson rock and roll machine.

oh well! at least tomorrow i play a place called fort awesome!

yeah, you should've probably just stayed home this month and rode your new moped instead. :) touring in the summer is for the birds! (actually they don't usually tour then either do they? i think they wait until fall/winter time to hit the road) hmm. see ya next week!!

i miss you too. rad show in lansing. it felt great to finally see a few familiar faces. hope tour is going well. wish i was there. i want a satin tour jacket. let's do it. mine could have a co-pilot patch on it. all glittery & shit!

i wish i could afford some satin jackets. that would be pimp. i think after this solo tour i am going to be done with solo touring until 2006.

i almost shit kinda when you said 2006, then i realized it was august...



i got kicked out of a math class in high school for the year-
then i realized it was xmas break the next week, and it would be a new year when i got back.


satin may be very affordable, it's the embroidery... but i'll keep an eye out.
